"Children are made readers on the laps of their parents." Emilie Buchwald
Over the years, I have collected a plethora of resources for strategies and tips in helping children become better readers. Please take a moment and browse through them. You just might find something you can use.
Ways To Make Reading Fun!
Book Exchange Party - Invite your child's friends over, and ask them to bring five books they want to trde. Let the children swap and bargain for books!
|
Reading Fort -Use blankets, chairs, mops, or brooms to build a fort. Then, crawl inside with a flashlight and lots of books, and read in the dark.
